Congratulations to Vuxaka Shiburi - An Outstanding Young Voice Recognized at the National Level

We (Majeje high school ) are proud to celebrate Vuxaka Shiburi, who has recently achieved a remarkable milestone by being selected as a winner in a national essay competition. As part of this prestigious recognition, Vuxaka was awarded a brand-new laptop — a powerful tool to further their academic journey and creative pursuits.

But that’s not all.

On 27 June 2025, Vuxaka was personally invited to read their winning essay in front of the Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa, Mr. Paul Mashatile, during a special commemorative event. This extraordinary opportunity not only honors Vuxaka’s eloquence and vision but also highlights the importance of nurturing youth voices in shaping the future of our country.

Vuxaka’s essay stood out for its depth, insight, and clarity of thought, reflecting the power of words to inspire change and express hope. It is a shining example of the talent and potential that exists within South Africa’s young generation.
